TAKI / Partition / Shelf

TAKI
TAKI

In a steadily moving and changing environment, where everybody and everything aims to be as individual as possible we need furniture which adapts itself to this trend. Inspired by the ever-changing flow of a waterfall, the idea of this partition was born. A waterfall flows straightforward until it's interrupted by a stone - then it changes its direction and encloses the obstacle.
Through inserting objects the walking line of the strings changes. An interesting, individual play begins. Constructed without any glue or screws, the shelf gets its stability through the tension of the strings, which are considered as distinctive design elements.
