Hyperion / Mining helmet

Hyperion
Hyperion

Professional mining operators in modern sub-surface mines are daily exposed to a dangerous environment while working alone for eight hours. The equipment they use is not specifically designed for the tough conditions underground, and they create a clutter. Hyperion is a mining helmet that provides the miner with adjustable work / walk lights and features that increase safety and strengthen the bond between the workers and the machines they operate: head-up display with vital work/vehicle information, in-ear radio with active noise cancellation, shock-absorbing foam, fall detection system and ID tag to prevent collisions.
