The design helps incomplete spinal injury and hemiplegia patients to stand up and start walking effortlessly in the late stage rehabilitation.
It uses the support and balance by underarm to amplify ergonomic safety with the principle of leverage to reduce the effort needed. With this device, patients can easily move each leg forward by pulling the corresponding handgrip. The slope of the armrests allows the patient’s legs and arms to be rehabilitated at the same time. All wheels are made of high-fiction-coefficient rubber to ensure safety.
