Fabrico / chairs

Fabrico - a chair and armchair, built on the principle of a tensile structure.
A steel frame forms the stretching mechanism for the fabric, producing the structural strength and shape, while connecting the legs into place. This creates a chair whose essence is tension.
The chairs are made of light and cheap materials, self-assembled and flat packed. This reduces manufacturing costs to a minimum, and allows a cost efficient shipping, providing the consumer with a cheap but high quality chair.
The fabric is easily replaced in case of wear or in order to change the style/color. Assembly takes 7-15 minutes.
