Tangible Topography / Experimentelle Kartographie

Tangible Topography
Tangible Topography

How do you usually compare two different maps?

We usually remember information from the first map and then shift to the next one; however somtimes, this could be quite confusing. The basic idea of this project is to enable users to compare two different maps at the same time.

In this project, I was trying to find how air pollution data is related to the other categories such as health condition, green zone and so on. A user can feel annual air pollution data by touching the topography and perceive the other dimension by looking at the screen.
