Tactile tape measure / Tape measure

Tactile tape measure
Tactile tape measure

This design aims to help people to measure things through touch. Users who are blind or visually impaired and who are in a dim place can quickly know the general size of the object through the help of this tactile tape measure. The design is not powered by electricity, and it is easy to make with low cost. “Tactile tape measure” is designed by cutting one side of the tape measure to make concave and convex shape. On each interval are protuberant signs, Braille and scale; therefore, users can measure the length by touch.
