Against the background of a constantly growing product world, where the loads of variations of each product congest the market, this study aims to analyse the relationship between the value of a material and its product and to question the role of a material in general.
Can design develop from worthless materials?
Setting the material in a completely new context, the attention of the viewer is directed to the aesthetic characteristics of Styrofoam, partycularly on its structures. Within an athmospherical appearance, it rouses sensual associations and the chaep character is invalidated.
