This project investigates if and how design processes can take advantage of the integration of natural forces in terms of creation. Inspiration is the ever moving North Sea which leaves stains on everything that gets in contact with it.
The pattern of these tiles is using the slow process of evaporating water. This process works very well with biscuit fired unglazed ceramics because the material soaks the liquid, which makes the evaporation process faster and irregular because the materiel is natural and uneven itself. The stains that occur are not simply straight lines but represents the movement of water.
