IN-SPC 23 / Rock inspection tool in mines

IN-SPC 23 is an autonomous mine inspection- and
installing- tool, which analyses the rock condition and installs sensors for a safer working environment. With the help of a ultrasonic device, it checks if there are cracks on the wall. If there is a need, the inspection tool can also install sensors, on rock bolts. When the rock is moving, the sensor will light up red and point out the danger zone for the miners. In a coal mine the sensor and the inspection tool can be outfitted with a methane detection module and will alert the miner with a blue light. The inspection module
provides also ambient light for the miner.
