JiaoJiao / chopsticks

JiaoJiao
JiaoJiao

'Jiaojiao' is a concpet design for instant chopstickes, with the fuctional and emotional aspect combined. Emotional layer has become crucial in modern design as it reminds users feelings and pieces of memories rather than facing a dull object. The concept is derived from a memory to an innocent girl. Separation of two chopsticks exhibits loneliness of human hearts. The top piece, which turns into stand after separation, owns the metaphor that everyone would pay off something for growth, but then become footstone of life. The streamline of the design is also a duplication and representation of a young lady's figure.
