Dot or Hole / Book- Statistics

Dot or Hole
Dot or Hole

This project is a poetical tracking of the factors that globally determine identity.

This approach method allows to have a fast visual overview of things as it shows and hides the data and uses it as mere points on the paper which, combined, create abstract paintings. Each dot is placed over each country in a world map, one dot, one country.

This project made me realize that, despite globalization, there are still many big differences among countries (income per capita, internet access, religion, unemployment, literacy levels, religions…) Can we prophesy that in 100 years these maps will become more homogenized because of globalization?
