Human rights. M i C / exhibition installation

Human rights. M i C

An exhibition about China and the human rights theme,
comprises two parts. The portrait of Mao Zedong, inspired by the well-known portrait at Tiananmen gate, made of correction roller on silk (1400x2200mm). It combines two thougths; the typical chinese material silk and a typical material for censoring and hiding information – the correction roller. Next to the portrait are ten white chinese laterns, in each one is a portrait of ‚human rights activists‘ integrated. But it is only visible, if u turn on the light.
