Stanowice is a small village in south Poland, in Upper Silesia, and it‘s my second home. The photo book deals with my yearning for my homeland and it shows the surroundings of my second home. From an early age, my parents and I drove to Poland. A lot of people have no clue about Poland, at best prejudices. There everything is different: Air, food, human beings, houses, streets, mans‘ clothes and how people treat each other. I feel very connected to those people – especially because the most of my family is living there. Of course I took every picture on my own and it wasn‘t always easy though. So, this photo book is longing and memory.
