Expand is a configurable family bicycle that encourages families to cycle instead of having to drive. It allows the user to configure it as a trailer-attached bicycle for grocery shopping, cargo bicycle for ferrying children or just a normal bicycle for family outing so that they may use it for different purposes. The front wheel segment may be expanded to convert it from a normal bicycle to a cargo bicycle. The bicycle is forkless to accomodate the space required in the front and uses a linkage system to maneuver the bicycle. The bicycle uses a combination of recycled aluminium and compressed acetylated wood to show its sustainable purpose.
