The colour-coded screw / hinged cap simplifies the opening and closing of the VITA VM bottle. If the cap is completely unscrewed, a ring remains on the bottle. In this way, the dental technician can correctly identify the ceramic masses inside the opened containers at all times. In a very elegant manner, it was possible to integrate the seal, which indicates whether the bottle has previously been opened, into the complex, one-piece injection moulded part.
All handling aspects were optimised in a gradual process. A well thought-out colour-coordinated/typographical navigation system and the finely balanced communication design take into account increased information needs and the required internationalization of the labeling.
The new packaging design provides the current generation of veneering materials with a thoroughly suitable expression. Throughout the design process, the focus at all times was on the brand image, one which has been created over decades. The brand core of the VITA Zahnfabrik was respected in design terms and successfully transformed into the future.
