People make markets. At REWE Group through generations. For each of the company’s six business segments, the annual report 2011 entitled “Generation REWE Group” places people at the center of attention. Over 85 years, they have made REWE Group what it is today: one of Europe’s leading trade and tourism groups. The annual report illustrates the connection of retailers, customers and employees to the company in six “generation stories”. The people are presented by black and white portraits. The report shows one of these portraits per cover and gives a first impression of the report, which is largely kept in black and white.
