Little Green Bag / Furoshiki-wrapped gift

Little Green Bag

Discipline: Packaging

Discipline: Packaging

This is a carefully chosen selection of five naked, or unpackaged, cosmetics and a re-usable aluminum tin – all wrapped up in an organic cotton scarf, woven and screen printed especially by a not-for-profit women’s co-operative in India. This wrapped bundle of unpreserved goodies has a recyclable cardboard sleeve with instructions on how to use the products, a fun game and a “how to” re-wrap your organic scarf with traditional Japanese furoshiki techniques. There’s even a “face sticker” on the label of the person who packed it for you. The best part? In an emergency, you can wear the scarf with the fig leaf print to cover your modesty.
