Tensile Shelf / Flexible Furniture System

Tensile Shelf

We feel more attached to the objects that we have personally participated in the manufacturing process. It is clearly evident in people building DIY objects, crafting furniture, and constructing tree houses. While most furniture are in finished form and shape for people to choose, Tensile Shelf openly invites users to design stage to come up with their own shapes that best fit their needs. It is supported by powder-coated rebar frame. Wooden discs can be placed/removed from recycled rubber cords that holds them in place. The rubber cord is made with the EPDM rubber, a LEED-certified material.
