Barbecue tong is mainly used to assist users to distinguish the degree of barbecue better during the barbecue process and to avoid users eating the meat which is not yet done. The design principle of the barbecue tong is due to different degree of cooked meat has different electric conductions. By utilizing Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) measurement, the researcher found that the barbecue tong conducts electricity through the clipping process, and during the process the electric current intensity will produce diverse illuminant conditions to cue the users about the condition of the meat.
