Glowing Handrail / handrail

Glowing Handrail
Glowing Handrail

In most public stairwells, the light is often being left on all day long, especially for the ones without windows, and that’s a waste of electricity. But since it’s a public stairwell, most people that’s passing it won’t remember where the switch is at, and therefore it would cause a lot of inconvenience if someone turned it off. That’s why the Glowing Handrail is needed. The Glowing Handrail is a handrail with lights and sensors. When it senses a hand on it, the lights would be turned on, and it would continue to be lit for 5 more seconds after the hand leaves. In this way, electricity in public stairwells will not be wasted.
