pH.umbrella / object

pH.umbrella
pH.umbrella

The object which I have designed is an umbrella. It's canvas is coated with a natural indicator. The indicator is changing the umbrella's colour, if acid rain is falling onto it. The aim of this object is to raise attention and to show the problems we live with and which we should change. The canvas's colour is light blue. Due to the acid it turns to pink. We can change it's colour back if we sprinkle neutral pH-value water. (We can do it up to 7-8 times.) Because of this, the surface coulor is changing and the graphics of the umbrella emerges by chance.
