Ritual of Space / Pavilion

Ritual of Space
Ritual of Space

In this project, it was important to distinguish each type of wall with unique characteristics. In my design, I chose the city to be in Japan. The users would enter into a dark corridor with dim lighting for a dramatic effect, and they would see a wall of text talking about the history of Japan. The idea is that every time you pass through a ‘place’ you would have to go back to the wall of information that has the history written on it, which causes you to reflect on the different activities and their relationship to the history. My drawings are in the Japanese manga style in layout and shading to fit the theme.
