Humanize Space / An existential room in space

Humanize Space
Humanize Space

The future Mars explorers need a space, where they can during the time span of one year on the space ship reflect and deal with their personal emotions and the dynamic in the group. A space that is not necessary for their physical survival but rather to cope with being humans far away from family and the true environment.
Only when the space is detached from the mission will it be important for the mission.
The space could be, depending on finance and confidence of importance, varies from a half wall to a room of its own.
The space should function for religious practices, ceremonies (funeral, marriage etc.) and a place of reflection.
