10 Inspiring Solutions on Sustainable Consumption

If you have some doubts how to start, these iF awarded projects, ideas and products make it easier to go green.

As a society, we have now understood – and not least accompanied by the fighting spirit of the Fridays for Future movement – that we are ruining our planet with our throwaway principle of consumerism. Floating plastic islands in the oceans and microplastics in food products are probably the most impressive proofs of this environmental degradation.

We present you a selection of 10 projects, ideas and products – compiled from the iF DESIGN AWARD, iF DESIGN TALENT AWARD and iF SOCIAL IMPACT PRIZE of 2020 and 2021 – that participate in building a recovery plan for a more sustainable future. Maybe they inspire you in your routine to help reduce your waste and impact your purchasing decisions.
