What iF yesterday’s baby products were adapted to fit the lives of tomorrow’s parents?

From sneakers that improve a child's walking habits to a silicon cord clip used to test the bacterial infection at a baby’s cord: The winning student concepts from the first round of the WONDERLAND DESIGN PRIZE 2019 by iF expose the innovative power of tommorow's designers. Since the market for baby products and childcare is flooded with new products each year - baby strollers, travel cots, car seats, high chairs or soothers in all shapes and colors, Wonderland Nurserygoods Co., Ltd. asked for concepts that provide young parents with innovations they might REALLY need. Participants were tasked to develop innovative childcare product designs that merge the well-tried-and-tested with the new.

"By sponsoring the iF DESIGN TALENT AWARD, we wish to interact with design students globally, find and nurture potential and dedicated design talents. In turn, we wish to see the industry treasure the value of industrial design even more", said the company in their statement.

Baby-car for disabilities | Baby-car

This product is especially designed for disabled parents and elderly people. The inspiration for the design came from a word that my mother said to me: any parent in the world loves their children the same, and will not change because they are poor or rich. Although disabled parents are physically defective, their love for their children is complete. This product can help them get close to their children more easily.

I am very honored to receive this award. I hope my design can help more people and make the world better and better.
