The iF DESIGN TALENT AWARD is one of the most important design prizes for students from all over the world, with about 10,000 submissions each year. Together with our sponsors, iF provides the platform for talented young designers and their future-oriented concepts. If you are also interested in supporting the young talents, click here.
The competition categories correspond to the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. That’s the reason why we are looking for submissions that address the most pressing challenges facing our society.
Once winners have been chosen and the prize money awarded, all winning entries are published here in the iF WORLD DESIGN GUIDE.
The best entries win a share of prize money of EUR 50,000 (in total in 2021).
We would like to introduce you the jurors of the first round of the iF DESIGN TALENT AWARD 2021 below.
The SDGs are a key element of the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and were adopted by all UN Member States in 2015. They are understood as a universal call to action for emerging and developing countries as well as industrialized nations. What links them all is that they aim to end poverty, protect the planet and improve the lives and prospects of everyone and everywhere. At iF Design, it’s a matter of heart to create opportunities for social commitment. Since we very much respect the important work of the United Nations, we have adapted our iF DESIGN TALENT AWARD to the SDGs:
In 2015, countries adopted a set of goals to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all as part of a new sustainable development agenda.
