The TAIPEI CYCLE d&i awards 2017 are looking for even more complete bike designs for this year's competition. Four out of eight gold award trophies will go to the best racing, mountain, urban and special-purpose bikes.
This year's TAIPEI CYCLE marks the 30th anniversary of the bicycle trade fair. Designers, manufacturers and retailers are all invited to enter their designs in the competition and bring home a seal of approval in this commemorative year.
Until 30 December 2016, exhibitors and non-exhibitors of the TAIPEI CYCLE 2017 still have a chance to register for the competition. Winning the coveted TAIPEI CYCLE d&i awards 2017 is a respected honor and opportunity to be recognized as an industry leader in bicycle design.
The judging panel of the TAIPEI CYCLE d&i awards 2017 will include Edward Chiang (Giant Bicycles, Taiwan), Francois Liang (Cycling & Health Tech Industry R&D Center, Taiwan), Ken Hsieh (AOI Cycle, Taiwan), Mark Stocker (Direction Design Group, Taiwan), Moses Hu (VanMoof B.V., Taiwan) and more.
You can find a full list of jurors and register for entry on the iF WORLD DESIGN GUIDE.
The jury will meet in Taipei to access and evaluate all the entries and to select the winners on 18 and 19 January 2017. Truly outstanding achievements in design and innovation have a chance of winning a TAIPEI CYCLE gold award.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the TAIPEI CYCLE, winners will have more chances to take home the special honor – the TAIPEI CYCLE gold award 2017. Four out of eight gold award trophies will go to the category ‘Bikes’ to encourage participants designing complete bicycles.
Visitors to the TAIPEI CYCLE trade show can view all award-winning products from 22 to 25 March 2017. The awarded entries will also be featured in an overseas tour to the CosmoBike Show 2017 in Verona, Italy.
After the awards ceremony, winners’ information will be published on the TAIPEI CYCLE website, TBA website and on the iF WORLD DESIGN GUIDE as well as in a special print documentation.
