Vita

Jum Nakao is a multimedia artist, designer and creative director based in Sao Paolo, Brazil. He works for the largest fashion shows in the world and he is most famous for a spectacular performance featured at the 2004 Sao Paolo Fashion Week where the models tore paper clothes from their bodies, thus destroying more than 700 hours of work in just a few seconds. Jum also designed the presentation of the Brazilian team at the 2012 Olympics closing ceremony in London. His clients include the Academy of Motion Pictures, Arts and Sciences for whom he has developed spectacular installations. (February 2016)
