Vita

Michael Corander (*1958) has been working as an industrial designer at Nokia Home Communications from 1985 to 2003. At the end he had the position as manager of the Swedish design team. Thereafter he formed his own design studio. In 2004 he started working as an interior and expo designer for one of the leading exhibition companies in the Nordic area. His main characteristics as a designer is to lead the product creation process in a comprehensive manner, while keeping a pragmatic approach. And thanks to the background as designer, mechanical engineer and toolmaker among other things, he is very experienced in different production methods and processes. Since 2009 he works as an industrial designer at Prodelox, a highly profiled product development agency in Sweden. Michael Corander has won several design prizes including iF Product Design Award and Excellent Swedish Design Award. (2000)
