Fredrik Sträng, is a Swedish professional photographer, lecturer and adventurer. He has set a Guinness World Record for being the fastest person to climb the pristine 7 Summits, the highest mountain on every continent in 191 days and becoming the first Swedish person to do so. He has climbed several 8000-m peaks, sailed in Antarctica in the wake of Sir Ernest Shackleton, participating in a documentary that was bringing back the life and the endeavours of Shackeltons party. Fredrik has rafted in the Nile, horseback riding in Mongolia and produced a documentary about the biggest adventure mystery of all times, who was the first person to set the foot on the top of Mount Everest? Fredrik has been working closely together with his sponsors over many years testing equipment and clothing to the very limits and contributed with improvement both to clothing, tripods, camerabags, stoves, tents and much more. Fredrik has a passion for improving both his physical and mental strength but also when it comes to make equipment and clothing better and more functional for. (September 2007)
