Vita

Mechanical engineer. Graduated in mechanical engineering from the Milan Polytechnic in 1969. He collborates with various companies as an industrial designer. Has been a guest lecturer at the Domus Academy and the Milan Polytechnic, and a menber of the board of Designlabor, Bremerhaven. Awards include the "Compasso d'oro" for his "Lola" lamp in 1989, and for hin "Metropoli" range of lamps in 1994 for Luceplan. Since 1994, the MoMA, New York, has included three of his designs in irs collection. Solo exhibitions in Tokyo and Amsterdam. He also participated in the 1992 Milan Triennial, the "Mutant Materials in Contemporary Design" exhibition in the MoMA (1995), as well as in exhibitions at the Center for Modern Art in Prague and the Groningen Museum.
