Trapezoid / Chair

Trapezoid
Trapezoid

Trapezoid is a slim and hollow chair only made by two aluminum plates with a thickness of two millimeters which is neat and smooth after laser cutting and bending by press brakes. In addition, the aluminum plates are connected to each other by blind rivets, which technique is usually used in transportation such as aviation and ships, giving the chair a modern style.

The folding angles, the exportation of press brake dies, and the space of blind rivets are being well calculated, searching for the balance between technology and aesthetics, in order to allow the trapezoid shaped legs to have enough support capabilities.
