Favo Verde (Green Honeycomb) is a product in a hexagonal beehive shape, made in pressed coconut fiber, able to hold vegetation planted vertically, forming true green carpets. Its large-scale use in big urban centers is geared towards enhancing microclimates in these cities. Besides having thermal and acoustic insulation properties, the plants absorb carbonic gas, releasing oxygen and reducing the environment's temperature. Clean production avoids the generation of waste and natural resin is used to bond the fiber.

An environmentally friendly product that uses coconut fiber, a typical Brazilian material with innumerable applications. A smart solution for green walls.
Design in Brazil - selected by Angela Carvalho
This Brazilian product consisting of vertical plant pots reminiscent of honeycomb uses an ecological material as a perfect match to the overall concept. Favo Verde is also very formally successful with its honeycomb structure, which is easy to picture on architectural façades.
