Green Gap Power System
Green energy system
Industrial Technology Research Institute
The Green Gap Power System has a revolutionary design which applies Electromagnetic Induction Theory and Wireless Power Transmission Technology to replace the old power supply system with a non-contact one. With a magnetic system embedded in the coaches and a wireless bond planted in the platform, electricity can be generated by the change of magnetic field whenever a train enters the metro station. The electricity will be saved and conveyed due to a power transmitter made of flexible materials easy to assemble. The transmitter can be installed in power receivers like traffic signals. A brilliant application of reproducible energy technology with great potential for mass production!
