Küchenzettel

Discipline: Communication

Discipline: Communication

This gift edition is based on a German cookery book that was compiled and handwritten 100 years ago, using old German scripts named “Sütterlin” and “Fraktur”. But only few people today would be able to read the artful handwriting and old printed fonts. So our aim was not only to make the old recipes available today, but also to preserve the esthetics of their historic typography for our time. For this purpose, the original handwritten and Fraktur scripts – plus twelve more Fraktur character fonts – were used, preceding the chapters like initials, setting out a topic. Each chapter deals with one month, with weekly plans of recipes of the season.
