As a step in transforming the Philips consumer website from a “product catalog” to a “product experience”, a new immersive way of experience for each product on the website is created. An example is the zoom and 360-degree functionality, which are available at a glance for all products throughout the website. Furthermore, it allows the user to experience and explore each product and its features in great detail by engaging images and videos. The Philips consumer website is a global website, operated in 57 countries and in 33 languages. The website is visited by 80 million visitors, contains more than 23,000 products and uses 50 million words.
