Vento Trimaran / Sailboat

Vento Trimaran
Vento Trimaran

The Vento is a new trimaran sailboat concept: a performance cruising sailboat that harnesses the full power of the wind. The 56-foot mast, designed as an airfoil, houses stacked vertical access wind turbines that generate power for the boat. The multihull design allows the Vento to achieve greater speeds than a single hull vessel or a catamaran; in addition, this stable sailboat easily navigates through shallow waters and has thirty percent more cabin space than a monohull sailboat of the same length. Constructed with electrochromic glass walls, the interior cabin space can transform from private quarters to a translucent outdoor space.
