Schnittstellen / breast cancer detection

Schnittstellen
Schnittstellen

My work concerns breast cancer, a problem increasing number of women are suffering. I have developed an add-on device for the robot controlled biopsy within the MRI scanner, because this method delivers the most reliable results. During the biopsy a tissue sample is removed from the woman's breast in ventral position. Due to that process the woman faces special fears, like claustrophobia, fear of results, violation of her intimacy and the invasive intervention. My product helps pacify the patient, through the use of contoured shape, special lighting and colors. (http://www.lifo.de/tmp/schnittstellen/animation.html)
