"Energies of Nature" is an electric vehicle concept, supported by the BMW Group, Munich. The "BMW Concept ZEL" interpretes the idea of efficiency and recirculation of the "low energy house" in an automotive way. An on-board energy management system enables the car to restore and recirculate energy depending on the current use-scenario. That is possible because of the battery unit, which is a mix of energy and performace optimized lithium titanat batteries. A lightweiht construction and solar windows, which energize the passenger cell to keep a constant temperature via air circulation processes reduce the energy consumption additionally.
