Balanced Chair / chair

Balanced Chair
Balanced Chair

Within the act of moving any object there is a connection between an individual's handling point of
that object and the object's inherent weight distribution. People instinctively try to exert the least
amount of their energy and in doing so, inadvertently discover the 'weight balance' of that object.
Object and individual enter into a balancing act and this is the focus of my project - the balanced chair.
By careful design of the chair's centre of gravity located at the middle of the backrest, an individual's motion of lifting the chair becomes swift and efficient.
