Heidelberger Druckmaschinen, Günter Braus and HQ: all icons of printed paper. What could be more important that declaring our belief in books and their ability to allow thoughts, ideas and fantasies to become real – an interactive counterpoint to disappear into the fleetingness and incomprehensibility of the digital age. A conglomerate of creativity pointing the way ahead, coupled with a subtle display of what is feasible when it comes to printing. Self-referential typography is uncalled for here. It is more about requiring a creative framework that encompasses the world and makes the fragmentary nature of perception comprehensible in book form.
