Goodbye & Hello: Im Dialog mit dem Jenseits

Discipline: Interior Architecture

The exhibition “Goodbye & Hello: In a dialogue with the hereafter” presents encounters with the afterlife in an imaginary space designed via black on white strip patterns. These artificial perspectives create spatial illusions. Simultaneously, the overlap of several levels generates an interference creating the illusion of dissolving spatial borders and shifting spaces. The stark contrasts and visual phenomena of the spatial design influence and disturb the exhibition visitor’s sense of perception and orientation as a preparation for the stories and objects from an unknown and foreign area, the hereafter.
