With its online version of the 2008 annual report, AUDI pursues a completely new concept for visualization and orchestration of contents. The microsite www.audi.de/gb2008 is a combination of mapping applications and video site. On an interactive globe, all 23 locations of articles found in the annual report are displayed, for which additional information can be accessed. For each location, there is a high-speed camera tracking shot, starting in outer space and zooming down to the level of individual streets. Here the user can experience the article as audio, video or slideshow. It is pure cinematic experience in Cinemascope format.
