The Guardian / Residential Fire Safety System

The Guardian
The Guardian

New residences are built with hardwiring to power a smoke detector. This provides a power source and communication.Once The Guardian is triggered it simultaneously alerts the resident with a loud voice, notifies the local fire department and sends a signal that triggers the sister units' alarms. Then it drops open and the firing nozzle flips down.An infrared camera built into the firing nozzle locates the direction of the fire.Once the fire is located a dousing pellet is shot at the fire. The dousing pellets (containing powder chemical or foam agent) are heat activated; the red cap melts off and the pellet spins in 360 degrees.
