SLIPPING AWAY / clock

SLIPPING AWAY
SLIPPING AWAY

The clock plays a communication role between time and users. It can remind users how much time remains before it disappears. This design features black numerical markings over a white background, on a “See-Through LCD Display”. When the clock is running, the digits will disappear hourly to indicate the concept that the time has passed. The color of the digits will change from black to mid-grey, light grey, and disappear in the end. This disappearing process was designed in order to provoke users’ emotion to treasure their time while they still own it.
