IdeenPark was an event by ThyssenKrupp in line with the “Year of Technology 2004”, an initiative of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, to explain the outstanding importance of technology for the economy and society in Germany and to call for technological training. With IdeenPark, ThyssenKrupp made a constructive contribution in the debate about the position of technology and innovation in Germany and encouraged young people to openly approach technology and discover the fascination of technology. häfelinger + wagner design conceived the whole IdeenPark in reference to tent architecture, infrastructure, visitor guidance, guidance system, exhibition organisation, processing of the themes in approximately 20 presentation areas, their architectural realisation with exhibit presentation, specific edutainment realisations for children and two TV platforms.
