Discipline: Communication

“COURAGE” is an initiative, created by the Communication-Agency Oberüber & Karger. “COURAGE” is meant as a reaction to the National Democratic Party and their winning seats in the September election last year for the Saxon Parliament. The agency created a motive demanding alertness and a new thinking transporting a different tackling of new problems. The motto goes: “the beard must come off” suggesting that old answers do not fit new questions. Every one of us, being caught in daily routines, is invited to – symbolically – cut off Hitler moustaches and fight against a strange culture of hostility. The motive corresponds deliberately to our every-day vision, proving that the threat through the NPD to our society arises from its midst and can’t nor mustn’t be ignored any longer. The overwhelmingly positive feedback to Saxon-wide adverts and posters is indeed encouraging.
