A personalised user experience website design for Panasonic’s mobile phone product FOMA 901i. The personal customisability of the product is sensuously appealed with interactive sounds and motion that lies in the backbone of the product. The jacket design provided as a tool for customisation appears as icons that can be simply dragged and dropped into the screen where associated sounds and motion image can be mixed to create an original “personalised theme”. The website expresses “the behaviour of customisations” and “trigger the individual personalisation needs” by providing a place where interaction is freely expressed with sound and motions. It is envisioned that the sensual distance between a product and individuals needs to be brought closer. This website has become a stepping stone providing experience establishing a network between product and individuals.
