Voda / Water Use Control

HANSGROHE DESIGN PRIZE by iF

HANSGROHE DESIGN PRIZE by iF

The idea of Voda is simple: it tells users how much water they use.
Users can set a limit for their maximum daily water usage and check if they stay within this limit. They can also look up the amount of water used by family members and friends.
Voda’s display indicates when the amount of water used is getting close to the limit. The limit can be defined in either liters or time (minutes), for example 100 liters per day.
A control in the shower measures the amount of water used. Voda can be used everywhere, for example in the showers of hotels, homes, gyms etc.

Voda is a personal, digitally operated sensor that is immediately understandable. The app for individually programming the ring is clearly designed. It is easy to understand and convincing. A job well done!
