DOUBLE-AID / Food Sack

DOUBLE-AID
DOUBLE-AID

We often see international aid agencies giving out sacks of food to hungry local people in disasters or impoverished regions. Many food sacks are reused to carry items, an example of eco-friendly recycling. We noticed this and began wondering what these food sacks can be used for other than holding items. We re-designed the food sacks and added loops that you can pass through on either side. Apart from making it easier to carry the food sacks, it also allows two poles to be run through the sack to form an emergency stretcher. This provides people with an ad hoc stretcher to help look after the injured.
